Therapy is like guiding someone on a hike. We venture down the path together, occasionally meeting hurdles or shadows, but there’s also a lot of beauty and light along the way. My hope is to offer a safe space to help someone reconnect with the Light within themselves, so they can eventually keep hiking along without me.

Feeling stuck? Unsure of who you are and where to start? Let’s start walking together, practicing tools, and finding the space needed to access more stable ground.

Counseling Offerings

  • Nature Therapy

We are all part of nature. Nature has been used for centuries for healing and spiritual connection. I utilize nature therapy to help clients connect with their roots. Clients learn to let go of the expectations and stress put on us by modern living. Nature therapy interventions are used in person, over telehealth, and of course, outside.

  • Mindfulness + Somatic Offerings

“Being over doing” is a practice that we continually revisit. I utilize mindfulness practices to help clients stay present and loosen their grip on control and stress. Mindfulness and somatic practices may include meditation, breathwork, nature interventions, light movement, acupressure and more.

  • Brainspotting

Brainspotting is another powerful somatic practice. I’m trained in Phase I and II of Brainspotting. Brainspotting is a powerful brain based therapy used to help clients connect to their bodies and work through unprocessed trauma. In short, an eye position is found in the client’s visual field and is used to connect with parts of the brain that would take longer to access if using typical talk therapy.

  • Parts Work

A parts work model, called Internal Family Systems, greatly influences my personal healing and the way I see my clients. IFS is a model of therapy that sees people as a collection of our various inner parts including our Self (true essence, soul). As we get to know our inner parts with compassion, we become more integrated and balanced.
